What is a Tentek microinverter?
TENTEK Tiger series microinverters are on/off-grid inverters when working with our Tribune-EMS series controller, which will magically create a residential solar storage system that will support battery mode operation without mains power. In addition, the independent MPPT input ensures the MAX output of each solar panel. Since the 25-year lifespan of microinverters is designed to be the same as the solar panel, customers do not need to worry about the hassle of replacing the inverter after a few years.
● Solar panels output voltage <60VDC, decrease the risk of the electric fire.
● One-panel match one MPPT, increase 5-15% electricity production verse string inverters.
● Keep each panel working individually, avoid the impact of partial shadows .
● Independently tracking each solar panel’s production, easy to identify each solar panel’s performance.
● Flexible application function, could be switched to off-grid mode to supply AC power to home devices.
● Lightweight and compact with plug-and-play connectors, easy to install.
● Flexibly monitor your solar harvest via the APP

What are the characteristics of microinverters?
üA solar micro-inverter, or simply microinverter, is a plug-and-play device used in photovoltaics, that converts direct current (DC) generated by a single solar module to alternating current (AC)
üMicroinverters contrast with conventional string and central solar inverters, in which a single inverter is connected to multiple solar panels. The output from several microinverters can be combined and often fed to the electrical grid.
üThe installation and commissioning of Microinverter are also simpler. Simple plug-in applications that allow users to install themselves.
üMicroinverter has high conversion efficiency. Compared with the string inverter, it has no barrel effect, which can minimize the influence of obstructions and stabilize the system output.
üMicronverter is all module-level monitoring, which can monitor the power generation efficiency of each PV panel anytime, anywhere, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, and save failure maintenance costs.
üMicroinverter is highly expandable, and can be expanded at any time according to the electricity demand of the family
üMicro-inverter has a longer life cycle that saves the cost of secondary installation.
üBased on high conversion efficiency and low operation and maintenance costs, the LCOE (degree-of-electricity cost) of micro-inverters can be reduced by at least 10%

Microinverters vs. string inverters: which is best for your
1 ► The PV panels of the micro-inverter are highly resistant to local shading, so each photovoltaic panel can work near the maximum power point;
2 ► It can increase the reliability of the system from 5 years to 20 years. The high reliability of the system mainly eliminates risks by optimizing heat dissipation, and the damage of a photovoltaic panel does not affect other PV panels;
3 ► More convenient installation and ultra-fast capacity expansion. Photovoltaic micro-inverters can be placed in various angles and directions. It is a distributed installation that is conveniently configured and can make full use of the space; no special power distribution room is required.
Microinverters can be mounted directly behind the module or on a rack. Because it is a parallel structure, it can be installed directly when the scale is increased in the later stage, without changing the previous configuration;
4 ► The photovoltaic panels in the traditional photovoltaic system will affect the efficiency due to the installation angle and partial shading, and there will be defects such as power mismatch. The photovoltaic micro-inverter can adapt to the continuous changes of the external environment and can avoid these problems;
5 ► The conversion efficiency of the photovoltaic panels in the photovoltaic micro-inverter will not be affected by the shadow of a single photovoltaic panel or the damage of a single micro-inverter, which can also improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the entire system;
6 ► In the traditional photovoltaic centralized inverter, the voltage on the DC line between the photovoltaic panel and the inverter is relatively high, reaching 600V/800V, while in a system equipped with a micro-inverter, the voltage output to the grid side only 220V, which not only relieves the safety concerns in the high-voltage lines of the building, but also reduces the power loss;
7 ► Smarter. A system equipped with a micro-inverter can realize component-level monitoring, and the working status of each panel can be seen in the ECU (Energy Communication Unit).

What is module-level monitoring?
Module-level monitoring is a contemporary and important tool for Solar PV System owners and O&M companies to improve financial performance and reduce risk in owning and operating a large-scale solar system.
The accuracy and insight from this new advancement, coupled with intelligent cloud-based analysis and diagnostics, bring many opportunities to detect hidden problems, improve energy output and improve efficiency in O&M activities.
Although this comes with increased upfront costs, the increased energy production can significantly offset these additional costs.

Why choose microinverter?
Most customers are unaware of limitation of the today's solar technology. So, to address the limitation we have invented a microinverter technology that is completely grid agnostic. This means that even if the grid fails and there is no sufficient sunlight, the Tentek system will continue to produce energy and meet the demands of the home or business.
The Tentek microinverter system's capabilities further enhanced when the Ensemble technology is incorporated into our AC battery storage solution. With Tiger microinverter series you can have a system that will continuously produce energy, regardless of the presence or absence of the grid that is solar during the day and storage at night.
That is what we mean by always on and it can address challenges like those experienced in Puerto Rico, other island nations and countries with weak grids. We also believe Tiger series microinverter will grow our total addressable market worldwide. For example, there are over 1.2 billion people with limited or no access to energy in regions.
